So for now I will just join in Farley’s Currently at Oh Boy 4th Grade (haven’t done that in a while) you should too! and maybe in the next few days I will catch y’all up on life in first grade in the rural world, and life in the Klinger home at Christmas time!
Oh and btw Congratulations to Marlana at Lil Country Kindergarten she won the iTunes card!

  1. Hi Tammy - Here's my grandma's Sour Cream Sugar Cookie recipe:

    1 c. butter, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 c. soured half and half cream, 1 egg, 1 tsp. vanilla, 3 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. baking soda.

Mix and chill dough overnight. Roll out and cut into fun shapes. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes, then cool before frosting and decorating.

    EnJOY! Barbara

  5. I cannot believe that you had half and half on hand! Let me know how they turn out. My daughter is home from college and she actually rolled out the dough for me today - there's a first time for everything!

Oh, and now she's listening to country music cause she's learned to two-step up in Austin! Have you heard Where's the line to see Jesus??? It's beautiful. Here's a link:
